Oliver's Mayflower Cider
Oliver's make a selection of fine Herefordshire ciders and perries with an emphasis on balance and character, coupled with drinkability, celebrating their native fruits grown in Herefordshire and the surrounding 3 counties.
Nominally referred to as minimal intervention, respecting the great heritage and traditions of the past but with an eye to innovating for the future, Oliver’s mill and press great fruit that are then exposed to marauding and hungry wild yeasts and part-blended and bottled.
The Mayflower cider is a full-bodied, intense barrel aged and ice cider. This fruity layered apple cider has spicy acidity, with a slight sweetness. A combination of prolonged barrel ageing of bittersweet cider which was then back sweetened with partially fermented ice cider and conditioned in bottle.
