Getting your friends around to celebrate “Pal”entine’s Day? Go the extra mile with our exclusive selection of cheeses and Bishopston crackers!
Enjoy a St Jude, a beautiful raw cows milk soft cheese from made by Julie Cheyney, with indulgent cream enriched textures; Bibury, a gorgeous lightly nutty sheep’s milk cheese from David Jowett in Gloucestershire; and the classic Montgomery cheddar, hand-selected by us on the farm in Somerset.
To accompany, choose from the following in the drop-down menu:
Somerset cider: Pilton Pom Pom cider, a keeved cider with quince to add some extra fruitiness, and Burrow Hill bottle fermented cider; a sparkling, dry and crisp cider.
White wine: Sotovelo - made from Palomino sherry grapes with the uniquely complex taste profile developed using traditional barrel methods beneath the natural veil of flor.
Red wine: Bardolino is a light red from Veneto, Italy, with juicy red fruit notes, perfect for pairing with cheese!
Local beer: A selection of our locally-made beers, specifically chosen for their strong sense of place. Landbier and Twigz are made by Woodshedding who are based on the Westcombe dairy. Both are brewed using heritage barley and wheat from local sources in the UK. Mills Pils and Mills Standing beer, brewed in Gloucestershire using wild yeasts, and are a celebration of the seasons, both giving a unique flavour profile as a result.
